Today we took the kids for a ride on the Balboa Ferry. It was such a beautiful day. We even got to wear our jackets. They liked the ride, but by the time we finished taking pictures it was time to get back in the car. And no that is not a beard growing from the side of my face, that is Johanna's crazy hair.

Aww crazy hair is the BEST. You tell Johanna if she ever needs crazy hair support that she can come see auntie Krystin anytime!! I can sooo relate! In high school, this group of boys nicknamed my hair "the forcefield" and would throw stuff in it--and the stuff would always stick! Still happens today, I find things in my hair all the time. LOL...that was a weird confession...
Great photo, reminds me of old times with my fam in Balboa. My dad always loved to take us on the ferry then to the Fun Zone, when it was still fun. Good times. :)
When we lived in Northern Cal., every summer we were down south we would take the kids on the ferry. I think we did this more those years than we ever did when we lived there.
The best year was the one we drove our huge 15 passenger church van down and took it out on the boat. The people of Newport loved us. :)
